Especially on New Year's Day, bloody Marys and mimosas are staples for brunch when my family gets together. The moonshine adds a little kick to the basics.
You will need two highball glasses. In one of the glasses, combine the 3 ounces of Ole Smoky White Lightnin' Moonshine, 2 ounces of tomato juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 2 dashes of hot sauce, 1 teaspoon of horseradish, 1/2 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/8 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, and a pinch of kosher salt. Stir well to combine. Add ice. Pour the mixture back and forth between the glasses until you are satisfied it's well combined, usually 3 or 4 times. Garnish with a celery stick, olives, and a lemon wedge, as you like.
